The VAST Trail in Northeastern Vermont
In the winter superior snow conditions and an extended trail system make the VAST Trail a viable means of winter travel in Vermont's northeastern most corner. Two ski resorts, the Jay Peak Resort and the Burke Mountain Ski Resort cater to avid skiers every winter while the Craftsbury Nordic Center and the Kingdom Bikes Trail provide Nordic skiing and winter fat bike trails.
Many snowmobile trails converge in a the towns listed below to allow snow machine travelers to go to restaurants, shops and lodging establishments, virtually by trail.
